Return to Self
Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: July 14, 2026. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Return to Self, operated by Samina Mujtaba in Winter Garden, Florida. Please read them before using the website, booking, paying for, or participating in an experience.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing the website, making a reservation, or participating, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, the cancellation terms shown at booking, and any participant waiver or informed consent presented to you. If you book for another adult, you confirm that you are authorized to provide their booking details, but each participant must separately review and accept all participation documents before attending.
If you do not agree, do not use the website, submit payment, or participate.
2. Nature and limits of the experiences
Return to Self offers music-led Kundalini Activation experiences for relaxation, self-awareness, personal growth, and general well-being. Experiences may involve lying down, listening to music, optional gentle breathwork, periods of stillness, emotional responses, physical sensations, or voluntary movement.
Return to Self and Samina Mujtaba do not provide medicine, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis response, or healthcare through these experiences or this website. No professional-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, or other healthcare relationship is created. Information on the website is general and is not medical or mental health advice.
If you have a medical or mental health concern, seek advice from an appropriately licensed professional. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or have an emergency, call 911 or an appropriate crisis service; do not rely on Return to Self email, forms, or sessions for urgent help.
3. Adult eligibility and truthful information
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use paid services or participate. Sessions are not offered to minors. You agree that booking, intake, contact, health, and payment information you provide is current, accurate, complete, and yours to provide.
4. Health screening and suitability
You are responsible for deciding, with advice from your own licensed professionals when appropriate, whether participation is suitable for you. Before booking, tell Samina if you are pregnant; have a significant cardiovascular, neurological, seizure, psychiatric, musculoskeletal, or other medical condition; have a recent injury or surgery; use medication that may affect participation; or have any concern about intense music, breathwork, emotional activation, lying down, or movement. This list is not exhaustive and disclosure does not replace medical clearance.
Return to Self may decline, pause, modify, or end participation when, in its reasonable judgment, an experience may not be appropriate or safe. A request for medical clearance is not medical advice and is not a guarantee of safety.
5. Voluntary participation, consent, and personal responsibility
Participation is voluntary. You remain in control and may decline an invitation, pause, ask a question, or stop at any time. You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions, stay within your own physical and emotional limits, and promptly communicate discomfort or a need for help. You will not attend while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that makes safe participation uncertain.
Before participating, you may be required to complete an intake form and sign a separate waiver and informed consent. Refusing required screening or consent may result in cancellation under the applicable refund policy.
6. Group and online experiences
Group participants must respect others' privacy, boundaries, and right to participate without disruption. You agree not to identify, record, quote, photograph, or disclose another participant's attendance or personal sharing. Return to Self sets this expectation but cannot guarantee that every group participant will comply.
For online sessions, you are responsible for a private and physically safe space, a suitable device and internet connection, and any equipment described in advance. Do not drive or operate machinery during a session. Technology failures can occur; the cancellation section explains available remedies.
7. Reservations, prices, and payment
A reservation is confirmed only after required payment is successfully processed and you receive confirmation, unless Return to Self agrees otherwise in writing. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change before purchase. You authorize the payment provider to charge the amount and any clearly disclosed taxes or fees. You are responsible for accurate billing information and for resolving unauthorized use of your payment method with its owner.
Group checkout is processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms also apply to its payment service. Return to Self does not store full card numbers. A payment receipt is not medical documentation and does not characterize the experience as healthcare.
8. Cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and late arrival
- 24 hours or more before start time: request one reschedule or a credit for the amount paid. Refunds to the original payment method may be offered at Return to Self's discretion unless law requires one.
- Less than 24 hours before start time or nonattendance: payments are nonrefundable and the session or place may be forfeited, because that time or group capacity was held for you.
- Late arrival: the experience may end at the scheduled time. Entry may be declined when joining late would be unsafe or materially disrupt a group, without a refund.
- Cancellation by Return to Self: you may choose a reasonable reschedule or a refund of the amount paid for the canceled experience. This is your exclusive remedy for the cancellation, except where law requires otherwise.
- Technology interruption: if an online session is materially prevented by a failure within Return to Self's reasonable control, we will offer a reasonable reschedule or credit. Participant device, connection, or environment failures do not automatically qualify.
Contact Samina@MyReturnToSelf.com as soon as possible. Documented emergencies may be considered individually, but an exception for one situation does not change the policy for others. Refund timing depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
9. Conduct and right to refuse service
Return to Self may refuse or end service for threats, harassment, discrimination, boundary violations, intoxication, unsafe behavior, material disruption, nonpayment, false information, or violation of these Terms. No refund is required when service is ended because of your material breach, except where law requires otherwise.
10. No promise of outcomes
Experiences differ from person to person and from session to session. Testimonials and descriptions are examples, not promises. Return to Self does not guarantee relaxation, release, insight, healing, improvement, or any other physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, relational, or professional outcome.
11. Assumption of risk and waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks of participation, including temporary physical discomfort, emotional intensity, unexpected memories or feelings, dizziness, fatigue, movement-related strain, and risks arising from your environment or undisclosed condition. A separate participant waiver may provide additional detail and is incorporated into these Terms when accepted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Return to Self, Samina Mujtaba, and participating venues or contractors from claims arising from ordinary risks of voluntary participation or your failure to follow safety instructions. This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be waived.
12. Website use and intellectual property
Website text, branding, graphics, audio selections, session materials, and original content are owned by or licensed to Return to Self and are protected by applicable law. You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, sell, scrape, republish, impersonate, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, or use content to create a competing service without written permission. Session recording, streaming, or photography is prohibited unless Return to Self and every affected participant give prior written consent.
13. Third-party services
Stripe, scheduling platforms, email services, Instagram, venues, and linked websites are operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their systems. Return to Self is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or acts outside its reasonable control.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and experiences are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Return to Self, Samina Mujtaba, and their contractors and venues will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill; or damages arising from third-party services. Their combined liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid Return to Self for the experience giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that law does not allow us to limit.
15. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Return to Self and Samina Mujtaba for third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful website use, unauthorized recording or disclosure, material breach of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights. This does not require you to indemnify a party for its own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
16. Events outside reasonable control
Return to Self is not liable for delay or failure caused by severe weather, natural disaster, public emergency, illness, government action, venue closure, utility or internet outage, labor disruption, platform failure, or another event outside reasonable control. We will make a reasonable effort to communicate and offer the remedy described in the cancellation section.
17. Governing law and disputes
Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and Return to Self agree to send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution and allow 30 days for a good-faith informal resolution, unless immediate relief is reasonably necessary. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in or over Orange County, Florida, and each party consents to that venue. Either party may bring an eligible matter in small-claims court. Nothing here limits a nonwaivable consumer right.
18. Electronic communications
You agree that electronic confirmations, receipts, policies, and notices satisfy legal requirements for written communications. You are responsible for keeping your email address current and checking spam or filtering settings. Marketing messages, if any, will include any opt-out method required by law.
19. Changes, severability, and entire agreement
We may update these Terms prospectively. The version accepted at booking will continue to govern that purchase unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and incorporated documents are the entire agreement about the website and experiences and replace prior discussions on the same subject. You may not assign your reservation or rights without written approval; Return to Self may assign this agreement as part of a business transfer.
20. Contact
Questions, cancellation notices, and dispute notices may be sent to Samina@MyReturnToSelf.com. Email is not monitored as an emergency service.
